Mobile Emergency Systems
The highly flexible and complex medical emergency systems developed especially for use in disaster areas are based on the ZEPPELIN Compact-Shelter, which is used for diagnosis and emergency treatment.
The expandable shelters offer unprecedented medical facilities, a safe and hygienic working environment and a high level of utility supply (e.g. energy, water) for emergency medicine. Depending on the configuration, the Compact-Shelter are supplemented by tents. The emergency systems can be supplemented by additional modular shelters and tents.
Emergency Station Compact
The Emergency Station Compact is fitted with all necessary equipment for primary medical care or initial examinations.
The Emergency Station is medically equipped for the induction of life-saving emergency measures, including intensive care and treatment of fractures. It consists of three Compact-Shelter for examination, surgery and intensive care, one tent for emergency admissions/triage and one Compact-Shelter for generator, water and storage.
This Emergency Hospital is the extension of the Emergency Station and, in addition to emergency surgery, it can provide additional modular options for diagnostics and treatment. The Emergency Hospital consists of five Compact-Shelter for examination, surgery, intensive care, X-ray and laboratory. Three tents are provided for emergency admissions/triage and patient wards. Three Compact-Shelter serve as a pharmacy and storage unit, as well as for power and water utility supply.
Quick and safe to deploy
The Compact-Shelter are specially adapted to the "IATA Cargo Standards and Regulations" and can be transported to their destination by aircraft as well as by helicopter (external load) due to their reduced weight.

The ZEPPELIN Compact-Shelter
The Compact-Shelter with a two-sided, fixed room extension is the logical and functional alternative to the conventional tent. It is characterized by ist uncompromising lightweight construction and the extremely high load-bearing capacity of the Overall structure. When extended, the floor surfaces are optimally located on one level.
The shelter's space expansion - the transition from transport mode to operating mode - can be achieved in a few simple steps within a short period of time.
